Yes, I did take the MSF Rider Safety Course. In Maryland (which is where I live), the easiest way to go about licensing yourself to ride is to successfully complete the course. It is not required for a license, but strongly recommended. And after taking the course, I understand why. You are absolutely correct, it was worth every penny.
However, after completing the course, I had nothing to ride...so immediately afterward, I found my new Savage...and the rest is history.
